Welcome the Darkness of the Winter Solstice: Open Your Third Eye and Be Attuned to the “Blazing Darkness”

Ancient civilizations of the world considered the Winter solstice the most important day of the whole year. For the Northern hemisphere, the Winter solstice marks the end of the year, the beginning of Winter with the longest night, and the time of greatest darkness.

The ancients often celebrated this sacred time by lighting candles to mark the return of the light, the rebirth of the sun. After the longest night of the year, light will start to regrow, like a seed that will little by little take roots and sprouts. This is why at the Winter Solstice prayers, resolutions and new directions tend to come to life in powerful ways.

What happens in the cycle of nature finds a deep resonance with our human psyche. This is the best time to go inward and face our inner darkness, which may be scary but not evil. Let us access together this blessed time of darkness by attuning ourselves to the Sacred Feminine, the Divine Mother, the Blazing Darkness, which is the womb that gives birth to a new light.
